A member asked:

If one only wheezes when inhaling could it still be due to asthma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not very likely: Inspiratory wheezing usually reflects more upper airway issues - such as a tracheal or vocal cord are issue. If there is concomitant expiratory wheezing that could be consistent with asthma, not usually when it is just inspiratory.
