See a doctor: It would probably be a good idea to see a doctor first to try and determine the cause of your problems. Taking the wrong meds may mask what you have and may not work anyway.

Sore tonsil: Draining sinus will not make a tonsil hurt. There's danger in self-diagnosis. Please see your PCP to determine if you are dealing with a virus or a bacterial infection, and to discuss the correct course of treatment.
