Doc recommends antibiotic ointment for dry eye. i already use restasis, systane balance, and celluvisc. do topical antibiotics make sense now?

Not really: Unless there is infection antibiotics do not make sense. Is it possible he is treating blepharitis or merbromin gland dysfunction though, which do occur with dry eyes. Best course of action would be to ask your doctor about it. Also, you may want to ask about punctal plugs or omega 3 fatty acids. Hope you feel better.

What can be done for chronic dry eyes when everything has already been tried? Restasis for 14 weeks, azasis for a month, bottom plugs. Tried steroid drops, antibiotic drops, upper plugs, nothing works. I can barely keep my eyes open for 10 seconds.
Use Systane Ultra several times a day and on eyedrop antibiotic tobramycin dexameth. Can drops go into your sinus affect nasal and give a bad taste? Sinuses are draining due to excessive tearing from eye issue?
Dr found dry eyes. Gave Systane Ultra (UD). Are these artificial tears? Dr also gave me Hypromellose Gel 0.03%. Why no Restasis or Lotemax (loteprednol) eye drops?
What can I do regarding sore, dry eyes In the morning? Ophthalmologist diagnosed eye allergies and dry eyes. Using Restasis & Cromolyn eye drops. Artificial tears as needed and warm/cool compresses. At night I use Systane Gel 2 drops per eye?
Should i ask my doc antibiotic? i had sinusitis for 3 weeks now. i can breathe, no congestion just pressure around face, nose and eyes.
