Echo : If this was mentioned on an echocardiography report, it means something (a focus) in the heart was reflecting ultrasound signals (echogenic) and was therefore seen on the images. It is not describing what it is, but only mentioning that it was seen.

Benign finding: An eif (echocardiogenic intracardiac focus) is a common finding on fetal ultrasound. This is a small "bright" spot in the heart muscle, meaning that the spot is reflective of the ultrasound waves. The precise cause is unclear, but this finding on fetal ultrasound is not associated with any structural or functional abnormality in the baby.
