Although anger ;: Overspending can be associated with bipolar disorder - they could also occur with unipolar depression. There isn't enough information provided to make a stab at the diagnosis. I would encourage you to obtain a good diagnostic assessment from a psychologist or psychiatrist to determine an accurate diagnosis. If may take a # of sessions to nail down the diagnosis. Take care.

Sure, it's possible: But, do not jump to a self-diagnosis. Consult with a psychotherapist who is expertised at conducting evaluations. Try not to bias the effort with conclusions, but describe the history and answer questions as accurately and completely as you can. There seem to be many diagnoses of bipolar - perhaps some are not necessary. Let a pro do their job.
