Obgyn said chronic pid and severe pain is normal.got two steroid shots and taking doxycycline it's been 4 days i am tired of hurting what do i do ?

Not normal: Severe pain, normal? Chronic pid isn't normal by any means. Your doctor may not be treating you with medication that is working. It's possible you have an infection other than one that responds to doxycycline. There are definitely bacteria and mycoplasms out there that are not going to get better with doxy. Consider seeing a different obgyn, an id doctor, or at university, one with id ob/gyn.
