24 weeks preg. some times i feel periods like cramps in my lower abdomen.no bleeding or back pain.why is it so? in usg scan nothng abnormal.

Good news: That's great that the ultrasound was normal. Typically if a woman is having cramping, doctors may perform an ultrasound of cervical length as well. If longer than 3cm, then this cramping isn't due to threatened preterm labor. You can always ask to have this done. Otherwise, if normal, then this cramping is just a pain of pregnancy! sorry, and hope it gets better soon!
