Depends: Irregular periods happen due to irregular or missed ovulations. By definition you have mild ovulatory dysfunction, the most frequent female fertility problem (30%.) using a home OPK may help you pin down ovulation; temperature charting in my opinion is not helpful for women with irregular periods.
