Check your meds: Prilosec can cause people to hallucinate without being schizophrenic. With that bit of knowledge i wonder how much the other acid blocking agents can perhaps do the same. If you are on a medication like that i would recommend that you find out if that is a potential side effect. Also, I have a rare occasion have matt people with panic disorder with hallucinations. They are not schizophrenic. They merely suffer from a type of panic that includes hallucinations. Some of them have turned out to have temporal lobe epilepsy.Please review these issues with your prescribing physician.
