See details: Do you have a history of gout or kidney stones? If not, you do not need this med. I assume you are describing your urine uric acid, otherwise the value you mentioned does not make sense. A value of 483 is a normal 24 hour urine uric acid level. Febuxostat starts to work almost immediately and peaks by 3 weeks.
