Yes: A miscarriage is a loss and depression certainly can follow any loss.

Yes --it's a loss: Depression is common after suffering a miscarriage. Miscarriage is a loss and whenever we suffer losses, we usually need time to grief and process the events. I would recommend talking to your doctor and asking for a referral for someone who specializes in helping woman after miscarriage.
