Caution is advised: Methadone, a synthetic mu agonist opioid, has pharmacological activity similar to morphine. Klonopin (clonazepam) is a member of the benzodiazepine family. No drug interaction, but caution is advised due to the additive effect. Combo may result in vasodilation, severe hypotension, CNS and respiratory depression. Keep the air way straight and open. Consult with your physician.
