NO: There is no fully agreed vitamin d level which is optimal, but we do feel that many patients do quite well with levels at 50-60 ng/ml, and your "70" should indeed be very safe. The drowsiness and fatigue should actually respond positively to vitamin d, unless you have a paradoxical rxtn. Since this is a fat soluble vitamin, can take time for level to drop. Work with your doctor.

NO, NOT high at all!: The "normal" range of vit d is 30-100 ug/ml but toxicity symptoms generally don't occur unless it is above 200. Most experts feel the optimal level is 50-80. There are many possible causes of your being tired but I am certain that too much vit d is not one of them (for you).
