Need more info: I think you are asking is how likely it is to test positive for HIV antibodies 6 months after a known exposure if the test was negative initially and at 3 month follow up. Most individuals will be positive at 3 months but on the very rare chance there was not a conversion yet it is recommended to do a 6 month follow up. This ensures no cases will be missed and treatment can begin.

Good: Very very good actually. The average antibody responsible take on the order of four weeks to materialize so six months is actually apple times on the window. Have been described a lot longer.
