Very small: And with difficulty breathing, at least. She would also be at high risk for many other problems.

Small: Thanks to advance science and technology , a lot of premature babies are surviving.Some are just born small, some may have multiple health issues. Of course best to bring them close to term.

Formed but in troubl: Most of his/her body would be formed except for finish work in the lungs and weight gain.S/he would have a 70% or more risk of respiratory distress from the immature lungs and likely spend 2 weeks in an NICU on oxygen, antibiotics and IV fluids.If you have early labor, it is no time to give up and have baby.Docs can often stop early labor & give baby a better chance.
