Stop worrying: And get on with your life. Don't do anything else that would put you at risk. Take a routine HIV test from time to time as part of your regular health care, as is offered in most countries. And do whatever it takes to stop obsessing. If you're smart enough to have found healthtap, you've got a lot to offer the world as a mature adult. Don't let fear drain you. Move on and live wisely and well.

You do not have HIV: Nope. You can stop worrying. You only need another test if you have another exposure. Now, for future reference: HIV infection can be prevented after a high risk exposure. This process must be started by a physician within 72 hours of an exposure. And, for future reference, there is an HIV test that is 100% accurate by 14 to 21 days after exposure, thus limiting the length of worrying.
