Headache: Start with otc NSAID such as motrin. If this is the "worst headache of your life" then and only then you may need to see a doctor.

Heat, Aspirin, Rest: I assume you have a headache and that the headache is your usual tension ha. I find the combination above works for me. If this is a new onset headache that you have never had before or if it occurred as a result of hitting your head, see your doctor.
