Not safe: In case there is no liquid substitute, tablet should be crushed. Mixing with pudding or apple sauce may be tried.

It varies with kid: With close monitoring I have seen kids as young as 2 take pills, but it took mom quite a while to get it done. Most are better served by crushing the pill. The butt of a wooden spoon and a coffee cup work if you don't have a pill crusher ($1 at the dollar store).It can be sprinkled into applesauce or other material and fed to them.
