Although several: Species of ant (honeypot ant, carpenter ants, leaf-cutter ants ; lemon ants) are edible and eaten in various parts of the world - in general would not recommending drinking/ ingesting ants indiscriminately. My parents had chocolate covered ants at the explorer's club. They said they were tasty.
