Saw video of my baby being born. it looked like student got to do it. why?

Teaching hospital: Did u deliver at a teaching hospital? At teaching hospitals students and residents ( doctors in training) do a lot. It's part of the learning process. I work at a teaching hospital, and it's extremely important trainees get....Trained. We were all students once. If it weren't for gracious patients like yourself, we would not be where we are today.
