Several reasons: When asthma is not controlled, consider an unidentified trigger such as an allergy, sinus infection or even ge reflux. Poor inhaler technique or insufficient dose of medication should be assessed. Consider seeing an allergist, they are uniquely qualified to assess asthma control and develop a treatment plan to get that asthma under control.
