How come my 5 year old have protein in urine?

Proteinuria: Protein found in one urine sample is usually not a cause for concern. When this happens, the test must be repeated, preferably with a first morning urine sample. In the majority of cases, the follow up urinalysis will be negative for protein. I would have the repeat test done first before i started to worry.
