Depression: It's possible that you have the illness of depression, and need treatment for it. You can start by seeing your physician for thorough evaluation, and if all is well physically consult a psychiatrist. S/he may suggest medication and psychotherapy, because these work together well to help you. Or, you can see a psychologist to explore your symptoms and see whether psychotherapy alone may help.
