How to deal with my recurring tonsillitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your ENT doctor: It used to be that tonsils were removed in childhood routinely. There are now guidelines that are used to help differentiate those who may benefit from surgery and those who may not. If you have had tonsillitis 7x in 1 year, or 5x/year for 2 years, or 3x/year for 3 years, or have had 4 strep throats in 1 year, you meet the guidelines for tonsillectomy and may benefit from surgery.
