Tough to say: I understand you to say you have productive cough following throat discomfort. It's prime time of year for viral infections, but GERD, sinusitis, asthmatic bronchitis, even secondary pneumonia is possible; others too. Hard to guess. It's worth a visit and be examined and treated appropriately.
