I have itchy skin all over but no rash, remedy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Various causes: There are various causes of itchy skin without a rash including dry skin, liver problems, kidney disease, medications, thyroid disorders, etc. Obviously if your symptoms are very uncomfortable a checkup is advised. If dry skin is not the problem then Benadryl (diphenhydramine) offers relief but may make you drowsy. Claritin is less effective but doesn't cause drowsiness.
