Skin rash (not itchy) all over body since 3 months. pcp started me on antifungal treatment. didn't resolve it. paediatrician thinks it is dry skin and prescribed a lotion. rashes have turned itchy since application of lotion. what is it ?

Many possibilities..: Itchy rashes can be from many causes, such as: hives, viral infections, fungal infections, medication causes, hot-tub rashes, heat rashes, reactions to creams or lotions, allergic reactions to various things (including foods), internal disorders (such as kidney disease, auto-immune disease), etc... That means a rash that persists or is worrisome in appearance should be rechecked by the doctors.
