Remove the mold 1st: Simple cleaning with soap and water and treatment with vinegar can remove the mold from visible surfaces.Be thorough. After removal of all visible mold, the machine is ready for use using new filters. Failure to clean it can aggravate respiratory problems in those sensitive to mold spores.
