Not equally allergic: some are more equal than others, (just drawing the analogy to "animal farm"), some would even react to its smell, others can eat some, and even few outgrow it altogether, but generally if you are allergic to peanuts, better avoid them, be careful to the ingredients of sweets for instance , keep an antihistaminic and an Epipen (epinephrine) handy, and follow up with your doctor/allergist
