Depends: The correct answer to this question depends on the perspective of your instructor. Type i diabetes is an autoimmune disease that destroys the islets; a few people think cow's milk triggers it but they're now a small minority. Type ii is genetically programmed and expresses itself better in the obese and sedentary. Classic nutritional disorders are vitamin / mineral / protein deficiencies.
