Do you spend a lot: Of time focused on whether you are pretty or ugly? If yes, that sounds pretty self -absorbed. Do you pressure people to tell you how they think you look? Don't ask people how you look unless you are prepared to believe that they are genuine. Reality feedback - is obtaining candid feedback from others without automatically rejecting what they say.

Why do you ask?: If you're obsessing over this, get with a counselor. If folks comment on a single feature, consider surgical modification; otherwise, most people like or dislike you for who you are, not looks. "Beautiful" young people often socialize instead of developing career or deep relationships, and lose a lot. Today, looking good is mostly about fitness, which is entirely up to you.
