Oral allergy: Don't eat the apples. I trust you are under the care of a competent allergist. I also trust you are not otherwise sensitive to them. Wear gloves -- I've picked apples and this is a good idea for anyone.

Anti-histamines: Take Allegra, Claritin, or Zyrtec before you leave. And take some Benadryl (diphenhydramine) with you in case you have an allergic reaction (and your Epi pen, if you have one)
