Play detective: It is not always possible to know the triggers for asthma in someone. Try watching for causes yourself. Does it follow being around a pet, going outside on high pollen count days, or when the air quality is poor, when around smoke or dust, or when a cold is starting? Does exercise, cold air or heat cause it? Keep looking for a connection and notify your doctors when you find it.
