A doctor has provided 1 answer

Folliculitis : Folliculitis most commonly caused by bacteria like staphylococcus, which likes moist, dark, warm and sweaty environment. You can try to minimize recurrence of the boils by keeping area dry, clean, avoid sweating and tight underware. Wash towels in hot water after each use and change sheets every week. You may also try antibacterial soaps, such as chlorhexidine (Hibiclens).
