DON'T DO IT: One of the few statistics that is the same today as when i was in med school long ago is that among young adults in reasonably good physical health who attempted suicide and failed, ninety-nine percent were glad, one year later, that they failed. There are things you can learn (new skills, new ways of thinking) that will make all the difference. Key is to find a competent guide / therapist.
