None known now.: Montelukast has a good safety record. Remember, though, we don't know the long term effects of lots of new jobs 40 or 50 years later. If you have not had allergy shots (or sublingual drops) to see if you decrease your asthma or allergy symptoms, try that. You may find that you need less of any medication. Of course, get rid of other environmental factors that worsen symptoms.
