Didn't the piercer : tell you? Rinse your mouth out after each time you eat & before you got o bed at night. Antibacterial mouthwash without alcohol is often used. Don't smoke, use chewing tobacco, drink alcohol, French kiss or give oral sex during healing. New piercings are usually cleaned 2x/ day. Do not twist jewelry / post. Saturate gauze w saline solution (pinch of sea salt in warm water), place on piercing.
