Creams or oinments: Genital warts are not dangerous, but they are contagious and should be treated. Symptoms like itchiness are common. Creams like a;d or anusol will help - over the counter cortizone (hydrocortisone) may also help. They are easily treated - either by coagulating or freezing them in a doctor's office with local anesthesia - or, if there are many warts, a trip to the operating room many be necessary.
