Why vs How?: Anxiety helps us survive/focus on what we need 2accomplish. Everyone experiences it 2some degree. But if it starts detracting from the quality of ur life, it's helpful 2learn how 2keep anxiety in check. I'm not sure knowing why ur anxiety has such a grip on u would help u handle it differently. Various forms...: Anxiety can show itself in various forms and to a variety of degrees. Mild anxiety is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if it is temporary and in response to a direct stimulus. Moderate to severe anxiety that is consistent and not in response to some specific identifiable trigger is more problematic regardless of whether you have an "attack." If this is you...consult with a psychologist.
