I'm wondering what is are the risks from the drug lsd and the effects, etc.?

Other than bad trips: I have seen horrific psychoses that were really bizarre and in very young people confined to the back wards of the state hospital. I have seen it worsen dissociative disorders, cause and worsen ptsd, cause and worsen depression and anxiety disorders. As an emergency room psychiatrist working in the drug ridden neighbor hood of chicago in the early 1980s i saw this and much more. Have also seen people have trails years after the use of lsd. This can cause much distress for some people.It is very important that you not mess with your sanity with this drug.

LSD: Biochemistry. Be careful you don't exacerbate an underlying condition in your brain that would provoke more hallucinations even when not taking LSD.
