Toddler with rash on only cheeks, arms, and legs. how is this treated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No rash decisions!: There are so many causes for different types of rashes, that without knowing what is causing the rash, it's hard to tell you how to treat it. If it's caused by something the child is sensitive to, avoid that thing. If it's a more diffuse allergy, try benadryl (diphenhydramine). If it's from an illness, have the illness treated properly. For instance, the rash with scarlet fever goes away once strep infection tx'd.
