Evaluation: Tooth needs to be evaluated to see what type of new restoration is necessary. Please call your dentist.

Have it replaced: Either with another amalgam filling or i prefer bonded composite fillings over amalgam fillings in most cases. If the filling is large, it might require a crown for a better long term solution. Your dentist can evaluate your specific situation and advise you of your options and the best solution.

Filling is leaking: The filling occasionally need to be replaced. The only solution in your situation is to get new fillings done. See your dentist for exam, x-rays and refill.
