Do you have: Sinus problems or post nasal drip? Do you have gastroesophageal reflux disease? Tonsil stones? Gum disease? Do you floss? Do you use mouth wash? If your dentist gives you a clear bill of health then get a medical check up.

Halitosis: There are many dental (and medical) causes of halitosis. See the following website for some ideas: http://www.Smilesapartcosmeticdentist.Com/fresh-breath-control.Htm if this does not help resolve the mystery for you, start by seeing a dentist.

Halitosis??: There are many potential reasons for "bad breath", but understand that brushing alone does not complete the homecare picture. You can brush 4 times a day and still leave plaque, bacteria and food debris behind if improperly done. Side effects to medication can cause this, chronic sinus conditions...I would start by having your dentist evaluate and if necessary your physician.
