It's a normal feelin: Being nervous and scared of extractions is a normal response to this procedure. However, dentists are very well trained in extracting teeth atraumatically and with minimal to no pain. Please discuss your anxiety about extractions with your dentist and he will discuss the entire process so you can have a better understanding of what's going to occur. It might motivate you to better oral care.
