Sedation: Const a dentist that is skilled in sedation dentistry. Usually an orally administed sedative and nitrous oxide will be sufficient to relieve your son's anxiety.

Pedodontist, nitrous: Your son may do beter seeing a pediatric dentist who is trained to treat apprehensive children. Many times nitrous is used to help the patient to relax so the procedure is easier for him now. And have less apprehension in the future.
