Jaw pain: I would discuss this issue both with the physician who is treating you for mononucleosis as well as your dentist. Combined, they can give you better advice than we can over the internet.

Oral surgeon: Mono should not give you jaw pain. See an oral surgeon. You may have concurrent TMJ. Or even a tooth problem.
