Wash & go to ER: Wash your wound profusely in running water, apply an antibiotic dressing and go to an er for evaluation, possible culture and oral/iv antibiotics to diagnose and treat a possible serious infection.

What is black: If the cut is black this may just be old blood. I would thoroughly clean the cut with antibacterial soap and water to better evaluate the cut. If still black then get it seen asap. In general cuts on the hand will heal faster if sutured closed unless it is just a scratch.
