If you had a : Dental cleaning that doesn't mean that your teeth should be whiter. Did you pay extra to have a whitening treatment?

Absolutely: A dental cleaning removes calculus and surface stains from your teeth. If your discoloration is due to stains absorbed into the enamel, then you will need to have a whitening procedure completed to see any difference. The cleaning is the first step in the process.
