Yes: You can see the doctor without your parent, but you might be responsible for the bill. It would be best to follow the advice of your mother. Cancer is not very common in young people. Maybe you can call your doctor and discuss it over the phone first, to see if a check up is necessary, a physical exam is recommended yearly. Then you and your mother can follow the recommendation of the doctor.
