Burning tongue: It's not just the menthol that increases the sensitivity of the oral environment. The tars and other chemicals are irritants as well. It could also be that there is an ulcerated area related to smoking. If you haven't seen a dentist and had an oral cancer exam within the past year, please do so soon.
